2018 Kay Yow Lemonade Stand

2018 Kay Yow Lemonade Stand

For the second year in a row, Robuck Design Build is thrilled to participate in Build4Kay, a lemonade stand fundraiser to benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund during the Parade of Homes Tour.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund is personal to the Robuck Design Build team as our own Gerri Herakovich played basketball for Coach Yow at NCSU and was a Kay Yow camper from elementary school to high school, learning many life lessons through basketball with Coach Yow’s leadership. She left a legacy of inspiration Gerri cherishes daily including humility, hard work, perseverance, people first and integrity always.

During the first three weeks of October, to coincide with the Wake County Parade of Homes, Robuck Design Build will host a lemonade stand at its Parade Home in Avalaire in North Raleigh. We will be handing out pink lemonade for any size donation and selling t-shirts and at a pink information tent. All proceeds will be donated to the Fund.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund was formed in 2007 to help all women with their battle against cancer. Coach Yow wanted to fund research to find a cure, to help the underserved and to fund programs that created new medications to provide better quality of life for those battling cancer.

Our Robuck Design Build team thought a lemonade stand would be a great way to show our love and unite communities in the fight against cancer.

If you would like to help support the KYCF, here are ways to donate and help:
