Summer Activities in the Raleigh Area

It’s almost summer and the Triangle has something exciting for the whole family! Check out the following summer events and activities for fun inspiration!

Pork Out at Lafayette Village

On Saturday, June 10th, enjoy great local BBQ as well as shopping, live music, and more. You can buy tickets to the event at Lafayette Village starting at 11am to enjoy this event as well as to vote for your favorite BBQ team. Tickets are limited, so get there early!

Ghost, the Musical

From May 26th – June 11th, catch “Ghost, the Musical” at the North Raleigh Arts & Creative Theatre. The musical has been adapted from the popular film by the Academy Award-winning screenwriter, Bruce Joel Rubin. This event will be a great night!

Rex Hospital Open

Join fellow golf fans at the beautiful TPC Wakefield Plantation from June 1st – 4th for the Rex Hospital Open. The event will feature Food Truck Friday as well as a Family Day on Saturday. The Family Day event will feature family-friendly fun such as face painting, live music, free ice cones, rock climbing, food trucks, and more!

Movie Nights at Joyner Park

Head to Wake Forest for free movie night events, occurring monthly throughout the summer. The first of these events will be held on June 24th.
