Robuck Design Build is excited about one of its newest communities, Miravalle, located north of 540, south of 98 and east of Creedmoor, off of Mt. Vernon Church Road. To help acquaint you with this area of North Raleigh, we’ve pulled together a list of some of our favorite places to visit, close to Miravalle!
Falls Lake - Falls Lake State Recreation Area is a collective of seven access areas scattered around the shoreline of this undeveloped, 12,000-acre reservoir. More than 300 campsites at four of the access areas offer a range of outdoor experiences. There are five swim beaches in the recreation area and a number of boating ramps. There’s a network of mountain biking trails as well as a separate and quiet lake impoundment perfect for paddling, fishing and swimming. The Mountains-to-Sea State Trail winds through parts of the recreation area and is a centerpiece of a network of hiking trails.
Margaux’s Restaurant - For more than 24 years, Margaux’s has been delighting diners with it’s ever-changing menu, flair for impeccable service, progressive décor and an unforgettable dining experience. Margaux’s calls it the perfect fusion of a high-energy metropolis and soulful Southern Hospitality.
Taylor's Wine Shop - What may look like an unassuming gas station and store is certainly more than you anticipate. Taylors opened in 1980 and has grown to offer the best selection of rare and hard to find wines, craft beers, coffee and even live bait! Whether you are coming by for a quick stop for gas and a biscuit or participating in a monthly wine tasting, you’ll enjoy your time at Taylor's.
Layfette Village - A European-style village located on over six acres off 540 and Falls of Neuse Road, Layfette Village offers locally owned gourmet restaurants and upscale shopping. Lafayette Village features patio dining along the Village Green, secure underground parking, office suites, and recurring events from live music to artist exhibits. Architecturally designed and built to depict a European village – not unlike one in France or Italy – the thematic center encourages strolls through paved walkways and quaint boutique shops.
Cedar Creek Pottery and Gallery - Cedar Creek Gallery, winner of the Governor's Award for Excellence, offers the work of over 200 of America's most accomplished craftspeople in a unique, relaxing atmosphere. Started over 40 years ago as a studio and sales space for two potters, the gallery has grown to house over ten potters and glassblowers in private studios on site, and is still family owned and operated.
This is just a sampling of all North Raleigh has to offer! In the meantime, if you are interested in custom homes in North Raleigh or other Triangle locations, check out Robuck Design Build.
